Guest vs Member Prices: How MAQAMI Pricing Works
Why signed-in MAQAMI members pay up to 10% less, what you pay at checkout and at the hotel, and how cancellation works.

On book.maqami.co every room has two prices: the guest price, shown to visitors who are not signed in, and the member price, shown after you sign in with a free MAQAMI account. Member prices are up to 10% lower. This article explains why, and what you pay.
Where our prices come from
MAQAMI buys from wholesale hotel and flight suppliers rather than from retail booking sites. Members get prices close to that wholesale level. Guest prices include a margin that keeps the service free for everyone and pays for support.
Why sign in?
- Member prices on the same rooms, up to 10% below guest prices.
- Your bookings in one place, with cancellation where the rate allows it.
- No subscription and no membership fee.
What you pay at checkout and at the hotel
You pay for the room in full at checkout through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay); MAQAMI never stores your card number. Some destinations also charge a local city or tourism tax that the hotel collects at check-in. When a rate includes such a fee, it is shown before you pay, so the total is never a surprise.
Refundable or non-refundable?
Each rate shows its cancellation policy before you book. Refundable rates can be cancelled from Manage bookings within the free-cancellation window. Non-refundable rates are usually cheaper but cannot be refunded.
