Where our numbers come from
Every figure in a MAQAMI guide comes from a named source. If we can't source a number, we don't publish it. Last updated October 2026 by Ahmed Negm.

We search each destination and count hotels, apartments and other stays within 30 km of the centre, in the right country. | Prices | Live rates from the same engine for 2 adults, 1 night, in USD, checked once for guests and once for signed-in members. Which guides appear in search engines
Every destination has a guide, but we only ask search engines to index a guide when it has real bookable inventory (at least five hotels in our live search, or fewer for large cities and capitals). Other guides stay available to visitors and are added to search as our inventory grows.
