What is MAQAMI?
MAQAMI (MAQAMI LLC) is a US travel company registered in Delaware in 2025. You book hotels and flights worldwide on book.maqami.co.
What is the difference between guest and member prices?
Visitors who are not signed in see guest prices. Signed-in members see member prices on the same rooms, up to 10% lower. An account is free and has no subscription.
Are MAQAMI prices cheaper than other booking sites?
Often, because MAQAMI buys from wholesale suppliers. It is not guaranteed for every hotel and date, so compare the final price, including any taxes paid at the hotel, before you book.
How many hotels can I book?
The booking engine covers more than 3 million properties worldwide, from hostels and apartments to 5-star resorts, plus flights.
Can I book several rooms at once?
Yes. Choose the number of rooms and guests in the search, and each room is confirmed in the same booking.
Payment and taxes
How do I pay?
In full at checkout through Stripe, PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. MAQAMI never stores card numbers.
Will I pay anything at the hotel?
The room is prepaid. Some destinations charge a city or tourism tax that the hotel collects at check-in; when a rate has such a fee, it is shown before you pay.
When is my booking confirmed?
Instantly after payment, with the hotel's or airline's own reference. The confirmation is emailed to you and visible under Manage bookings.
Changes and cancellations
Can I cancel?
Each rate shows its cancellation policy before you book. Refundable rates can be cancelled from Manage bookings within the free-cancellation window. Non-refundable rates cannot be refunded.
How do I find my booking?
Open Manage bookings on book.maqami.co and enter your booking ID and the email used to book, or sign in to see all your bookings.
Travel professionals
Can travel agents use MAQAMI?
Yes. Travel agents and businesses book hotels and flights for their travellers on book.maqami.co, with prepaid checkout and instant confirmation.
Is there a contract?
Yes, the MAQAMI agency contract is available as a PDF from the footer of every page. For partnerships write to info@maqami.co.
AI assistants
Can I book with ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Connect the free MAQAMI MCP server (https://mcp.maqami.co/) to your assistant. It searches live hotel and flight prices and returns a secure checkout link on book.maqami.co.
Does the AI assistant take my payment?
No. Payment only happens on book.maqami.co, through Stripe.
